These are some screen shots of our music video, I want to talk about the types of editing we used in detail because we used the technique to show the relationship with the lyrics/visuals and visuals/sound. Also to give more effectiveness wthin the music video.
For this we used peep hole editing to create voyeurism and the lyrics matches the visuals as she says the words. Also its a shot where all the members of the band are shown which indicates their unity of one as a band.
This shot we used water colour, first we thought we had to put some editing to look good but when we applyed it, it made the guitarists to stand out from the graffity backround. Also this shot shows therelationship between visuals and sound.
For this we used colours to give the filter affect that we could not do due to some problems. As I expected it worked really well withthe style of punk music.
This one we used clour TV and old black and white, as it is how like an old TV. It is a good shot with two guitarist placed diagonally one pointing to the other. We used this to show different techniques and the characteristics of the guitarists because both of them are quite shy and quite.
The technique above is N-square and edges, its our second scene of our music video we though to start with the guitar as there is guitar sound only which matches the sound and visuals. Also N-square is used to show that the artist is falling apart, her feelings and thoughts and she is confused. Edges used to show her dark side and it matches well with the guitar shown.
Through out the video we used the same editing skills to show continuity of the scenes.
