With out She and Him sequence i was involved in the background dancing and i did all the editing for the sequence. When learning the dances it was a long struggle to learn all of the dance and to get it perfect. One thing i learnt was that dances should copy the main person because if the main person messes up we all do and it doesn't look like we messed up. Also another thing was timing and free time. every chance i had i practised the dance and so did everyone else in the group. Because of this the dances were prefected and it all went smoothly. One major problem was timing and getting all the parts filmed and people turning up late. This caused alot of stress for the director of our group and everyone because it took so long to just get the beginning done and we had a whole day to do.
With editing the biggest problem was that some shots were missing, but because we were simply copying a pop video it was easy to time it right but some shots our main girl wasn't miming the lyrics and some she was so it was difficult to mix to slides together. Our teacher mentioned to us about another type of editing program, final cut. This would of come in handy with some shots because of mixing the two together was a nightmare. Once again it was a nightmare to sync the person miming to the actual music because in some parts she wasn't miming it right and it looked weird. Another problem was when i had synced one part another part of the song had become un synced and it was a pain to keep editing the same part over and over again.
One good point about the editing is i learnt alot about editing the sequence and i have learnt from my mistakes so when it comes to furture editing i will know what to change and how to tackle some problems for example the fast slow sequences.
