My role for Our Group Music Video On "She and Him"

For the She and Him Group Music Video, I was one of the camera operators for the Libary Scene and I was the assistant for our director Marwa in the corridor scene as there had a lot of difficults doing this scene.
Intially, for the Library Scene Robyn was ment to film the Library scene. However, as she was one of the dancers she couldn't take on the role of filming this scene. So I took over the role of camera operator for one of the camera's. In this scene Library scene in the music video, two camera's were used in the original video. So Marwa was on one camera, while I was on the other. My job wasn't particular diffcult as I had to make sure it was in the right angle as the original music video. I didn't mind taking the job as being camera operator, I personally feel is one of my strongest areas.
Being Marwa's assisant for the corridor scene was a little more challenging as I need to have a bit more strenght doing this job. For this corridor scene,we had problems getting the postion we wanted it. As the camera wasn't tall enough to do the high angle shot, we had to put the tripod on the table. We were really worried about whether the tripod falling of the table so I my job was to support the tripod from falling. This meant I had to wait there in the same position for a long time.
From this experience of working on the She and Him, I learnt that Time Mangement is crucial when it comes to filming. It is important to know exactly what we were filming and also made sure we knew what our jobs are and not sort jobs out in the last minute. I have learnt alot from the experience and I hope I can aplly this to our own music video.
