Fast slow premilary task

On the 16th of July me and Hannah had our first lesson off so we decided to get a head start. When we first listened to the songs with the fast one we had an idea of spinning and clowns, with the slow one we couldn't think of many ideas but we had ideas on how to edit the first one into a slow song. The whole point of this exercise was to experience different kinds of editing i.e the fast song will be quick where as the slow song wouldn't be.

In our media lesson Sung-min, Narmadha and Hannah went to continue filming and i stayed to continue our class editing of the she and him production. Once they returned we up loaded the footage. That lunch i returned to edit the fast sequence and nearly finished it and uploaded the songs to imovie. In my opinion imovie is a really good editing system and i have got used to it and find it really easy to use.

On the 19th we continued to edit the fast sequence and slow sequence but we didn't finish the slow one so today (20th) we completed both edits and converted the imovie file to quick time.
From this i have learnt:

  • Edit takes alot of time to get it perfect and exactly right.
  • Once finished if you change one tiny second in the clip it can change all the clip and make the clip out of sync.
  • When i have extra time come in to do some work because it makes the lessons easier and quicker when uploading or finishing off some edits.
